Who Sold the Most Web Sites?
We have an interesting bit of trivia to share regarding the Most Outstanding WebCenter Owner for November 2005. Our new champion, William Trabulsie, who sold six Web sites in November, also happens to be 2004’s November winner. Something about this month just seems to bring out the salesman in Mr. Trabulsie.

Congratulations William Trabulsie, the Most Outstanding WebCenter Owner for the Month of November 2005!!!

WebCenter Owner Success Stories
Cathy McLaughlin had been a WebCenter owner for quite a while, but never really did anything with it – that is until recently.

That all changed the day she got laid off from work. Instead of brooding about her misfortune, she decided that she was tired of working long hours on a “45-year plan” designed to make someone else rich. She proactively committed to make a success of her Web Hosting business.

She started her quest by getting more training. But we’ll let her tell you in her own words:

”I went to three Web site trainings this year. I decided if I was going to be successful, I needed all the training I could get. I am even planning on attending the next one.

Some of you might ask, “Why go to another one?” My answer is that until I am making the kind of money I want, I will continue to improve myself with training.

Once I made my mind up, that’s when everything changed. Last month, I made at least two appointments a week. The trick was simply sticking with it and I sold my first Web site as a result!

And as for rejection, just remember that they are saying “No” to their business -- not yours. I want to say thank you for the training, iwc411.com and the WebCenter Forum. Best of luck to all.”

Last chance to play the Tax Write-off Card
For the majority of businesses, the tax fiscal year ends December 31st. This is a great time for WebCenter owners to bring up the possible tax write-off value of buying a Web site before the deadline hits. A word of caution, however, when you are bringing up this point. To avoid any problems, always refrain from dispersing any tax advice. If your customer still has further questions, simply direct them to a qualified tax professional.

Emphasize Ecommerce and add value to your sale
Did you know one of the most attractive and potentially lucrative features a WebCenter owner has to offer a business owner is our complete Ecommerce solution? It is a highly sought-after necessity and most Web sites utilizing our ecommerce package sell for an average of $1500 each.

The fact is that other Web Hosting businesses offer much less sophisticated packages and then charge extra for any upgrades. Your solution is all-inclusive and has no hidden fees. This gives you a huge advantage over your competition – especially this time of year.

Get to know all of your Ecommerce tools. Not only will being informed help you better promote your Web Hosting business to your prospects, but in the end, the site will command a much higher price.

Here is a brief overview of what is included in the ecommerce package to help you out:

E-Commerce Tools
Your new Web site provides you with access to all of the components necessary to help you start making money online: a merchant account, a fully customizable product catalog, a virtual shopping cart, advanced pricing features, shipping, handling and tax rules, payment options, inventory tracking, and order processing features.

Customizable Product Catalog
Every site includes tools that give you the ability to create an extensive online catalog capable of displaying thousands of items, with fully customizable pages that can be modified to reflect the look and feel you want your business to project.  More than just a listing of products, your online catalog offers a wide range of extra features: functional image support, product categories and divisions, product descriptions, discount coding, custom shipping methods, handling charges with basic and premium options, tax methods and more.

Thumbnail Creator
When you start uploading product images to your online catalog, all of your images will be automatically reduced to thumbnail-sized pictures ideal for displaying your merchandise.  Regardless of the original size, all of the thumbnail images on your site will have the same width, while maintaining the original aspect ratio, resulting in a professional, well-designed look for your product catalog pages.

Integrated Product Catalog Upload Feature
Uploading or refreshing images in your online product catalog can be a very time-consuming process, especially when you’ve got thousands of products in your catalog! With our rapid upload feature, you’ll be able to quickly update your catalog by adding new products or changing existing images as often as you want.

Order Exporting
If you’re already using accounting software to process orders, you’ll love the order-exporting tool inside the e-commerce package! This useful feature streamlines order processing by automatically generating invoices and downloading orders directly into your accounting software each time a customer makes a purchase on your Web site.

Multiple Billing Options
Our versatile e-commerce system is designed to give you a variety of options for processing online orders.  You can process credit cards and e-checks online in real time, have orders sent to you by e-mail, or receive batched order reports by fax on a daily basis.  Regardless of which payment and billing options you enable on your Web site, you can be confident that all of your transactions are safe and secure on our SSL-encrypted network.

Inventory Management Tools
The inventory management tools in your administrative section let you synchronize your actual product inventory with the inventory displayed in your online catalog. Your Web site will be able to let customers know whether or not an item is currently in stock, and advanced inventory features allow you to accept or reject orders on out of stock items.
