May 2006 Tip of the Month

The War Against Excessive Cancellations
This month we're declaring war against excessive cancellations.   May is going to be the month we take back control of our appointments.  Dollars By Design has made it our personal mission to stop excessive cancellations by educating you on how to set the best-qualified appointments possible.

To get the job done right, we’ve asked our top people to come up with a plan of action to teach you the most up-to-date and effective methods known to ensure that you set qualified appointments with the best chance of resulting in a sale.

In addition, we have divided our “Master Plan” into separate sections to make it easier for you to comprehend. Each section covers information that lays vital groundwork for the next phase. As of today, we have unveiled the first 2 phases for you:

1. Appointment Checklist Article
2. “How to set better appointments” Audio Commentary

If you haven’t had a chance to review them yet, we urge you to do so as soon as possible. Here is a quick overview of what you can expect from each one.

Phase 1:
Appointment Checklist
The Appointment Checklist is a great starting point for WCO’s. In it, you’ll find 8 important guidelines for you to consider before setting each appointment. These guidelines are designed to help you identify the most qualified prospects, so that you don’t waste valuable time and resources on others much less likely to purchase. Here are some examples of what you can expect to find on the checklist:

¨ Make a good first impression
¨ Always speak with the Decision Maker (DM)
¨ How to find your DM’s “Hot Buttons”
¨ Don’t oversell the site
¨ And never discuss price with DM

By mentally going through this checklist before setting the appointment, you will have a much better idea as to the quality of the appointment and the likelihood of a sale. To read the entire Appointment Checklist, click into:
